Macro Photography

Macro is defined strictly as when the image on the sensor of the subject is larger than the subject in front of the lens.

Macro-photography can quickly get rather technical and much fiddlier than extreme close-ups.

I've no idea how it got damaged.
This is 300 pixels wide, 900 if you click on it.
The full image is 3600px, 4 times as wide, 16 times the size.
The coin is about 2cm wide
